Polyphonic Memories ll continues the theme that was the basis for the first 'Polyphonic Memories' album (June 2021):

A selection of tracks that draw their inspiration from a collection of distinct, poignant, personal moments in time, all stemming from journeys to various corners of the world.

Sometimes, a defined moment in time, or distinct memory, can be an expressive gateway to particular forms of musically creative output. This is the platform from which these musical sketches came to life.

A few thoughts behind the individual tracks…

‘Dancing Light Over The Orinoco’ derives its musical content from a boat journey along the famous Orinoco.

‘Gliding Past Salto Ángel’ takes its musical direction from an out of the ordinary flight past the world’s tallest waterfall; the Angel Falls.

‘Winding Along The Flåm’ - the Flåm railway, in Norway, is one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world and great inspiration for an instrumental piece…

‘The Sleepy Haze After Viñales Rain’… directly after a heavy storm, the quiet but dramatic scenery of The Viñales Valley in Cuba.

‘Sigiriya Sunrise’ - probably doesn’t need much explanation, as the sun rose over this vast ancient rock fortress.

‘Drifting Memories’ - sit back, relax and see where this track takes you…

Reviews:
'No doubt in minds that Colin Rayment still remains a sure bet in the field of EM, making of this new download-album something nice which is quite equal to what he offers to his audience since his blossoming with Abstract Dimensions in 2015. A nice album to discover and listen to!'
